One Holiday Ever After
My last read of 2014 took longer than I expected as I stumbled reading through this anthology. The first story Holiday Roommates by Tere Michaels was pretty entertaining, sweet and touching at the same time. There's development of characters in the story, not only for the MCs but also the supporting roles, even those who seemed harried and snarky at the beginning. 3.65 stars
It's the next story I had a bit trouble with, Holiday Sanctuary by Elle Brownlee. I couldn't get the feel for this one from start to finish so I could only put 2 stars.
I probably could relate more to Gavin from Holiday Homecoming by Elizah J. Davis. Although I love Eric, the other MC, and Katie, his best friend, I felt some sort of click with what Gavin'd been through. Perhaps I'm being maudlin while reading it, but. I. Just. Felt. For. Gavin. 3.85 stars
