From the hot Mediterranean summer to the biting cold Alaskan winter, the love affair between meek Josh Addison and his hunky Captain Kane Kessler continued.
Like this better than #book1. Josh showed more spine in this sequel to [b:The Captain's Man|11106636|The Captain's Man (Captain, #1)|Scarlet Blackwell|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1360574012s/11106636.jpg|16028871] (way to go Josh!), Kane as obnoxious as ever though the glimpses of

Captain Fantastic armor appeared more often.
Freddie and Erik made the reappearance here (which I love!). And despite so many holly smoky steamy sex scenes (or bcoz of it!?) the story was more complex, especially when Josh's ex (tried to) dropped back into Josh's life. I don't know why the ex always pictured as the evil of the story but whatthehell, Drew served his purpose in this one. :P
