Tear-jerker! I was weeping when I finish reading this book. Angsts. Sooo much ANGSTs that I equally longing and dreading to continue.
My heart went to Xander and Christian when they felt they had to do the heart-wrenching decisions to protect themselves. And what followed was just... SOBS! Otoh, I often felt that Xan was still acting like a child even when he has grown up. And I don't get much of what Chris actually felt (except when he said them) as this story was told from Xander's point of view. But the kind of
"Love conquers all" that they had, that was just sweeeet! I can do without the piles of sogging wet tissue next to me, though. ;)
