City Mouse - Amy Lane, Aleksandr Voinov The six weeks story after the hopeful happily-ever-after end of [bc:Country Mouse|13549783|Country Mouse (Country Mouse, #1)|Amy Lane|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1332792256s/13549783.jpg|19116177]. The ever-insecure-despite-his seemingly-confidence-and-put-together, Malcolm, and his turned-out-not-so-hick IT-expert Yank, Owen. These two were so cut together, with all their bickering over postcode preference, opposite life-style, and carbo consumption.

Owen was trying to fit-in in his boyfriend's London life while building his own; got a job he like, made friends etc. Malcolm in his bubble of new found love and happiness; trying to keep Owen for himself, jealous of everyone sniffing at his boyfriend, and worried over Owen's financial independence in a strange city and strange country just in case they didn't make it together. A recipe for disaster unless they could talk it out as a couple. And human, with real life.

I like Malcolm so much better in this story. So he's a jerk. Still. (But his PT was even a bigger jerk. LOL). Self-reasoning for being a jerk aside though, he had some agreeable points on top of his love for Owen. And Owen, despite his kindness and forgiving self, even he had fear and doubt. So these two deserved and complimented each other. Wouldn't mind some snippets/short-story of them post honeymoon time. :)
