Burden - Annmarie McKenna I actually loved the opening chapter and had high hope on this. Such a potential on the plot to make good story. Alas, I couldn't really got the thrill of "mystery" to be solved; didn't really like the characters be it the tough muscled one (an undercover cop jumped the bones of another cop, merely hours after suspecting him? - it's a miracle he survived the undercover part) or the recovering from injury one (okay, he's just through a near death "accident", I read stories where stuttering men could still appear NOT weak though). Considered this an easy light reading.
